Showstopper – The Buffing Marathon Begins (and New Pads Arrive!)

It's that time of year again! The calendar flips to 'car show weekend,' and our garage transforms into a high-stakes detailing studio. For most people, a few hours with a sponge and a hose would do the trick. For my husband? We're talking about a multi-day buffing marathon.

Just when I thought he had every conceivable buffing tool known to man, a package arrived yesterday. Turns out, he’d been eyeing some new Chemical Guys BUFX111HEX6 Hex-Logic Quantum Heavy Cutting Pad, Yellow (6.5 Inch Pad made for 6 Inch backing plates #ad and decided this was the perfect moment to 'upgrade his arsenal.' According to him, these are going to make all the difference in achieving that ultimate, swirl-free shine for the show.

I just nodded, smiled, and made sure he had plenty of water (and maybe a snack) on hand. But honestly, watching him work, I can see the passion in every swipe. Wish us luck for this weekend! I'll be sure to share some 'after' photos from the show.
